ROOST NERO TI FRAME – AGGRESSIVE MTB
Riding terrain that you would not normally tackle on a hardtail is exactly why the Roost Nero Titanium Frame was created. The Nero Ti frame is a super aggressive hardtail that borrows its progressive geometry from the top of the line full squish bikes and is designed to smash single track, rock gardens and just about anything you can put it down, plus its super-fast on the pedals. Nero enjoys the benefits of the inherent lightweight and enhanced ride qualities of this perfectly hand-crafted Titanium frame, not to mention, nothing is more beautiful or screams baller like a Titanium bike frame. With a host of trail worthy features like, slack head angle, low bottom bracket, short chain stays, low stand over, and modular 12×148 rear dropouts the Nero Ti Frame will inspire the confidence to ride terrain that was previously reserved for the those on a full squish rig.
To maintain consistent weight distribution between the front and rear wheels, the engineers at Roost bike have scaled the rear chain stay of the Nero ranging from 425mm to 445mm depending on the frame size. So, the smaller frames get shorter rear ends, and the bigger frame get longer rear end. This makes a lot of sense, if a larger size frame gets a longer reach, why shouldn’t it get a longer rear chain stay too? This isn’t common in frame building though, and that’s largely down to manufacturing costs, however Nero is not made in a mass-produced sausage factory it is a hand crafted Titanium Masterpiece.
