Warranty Overview
At Roost Bike, we stand behind our products and are committed to supporting our customers.
We take all warranty claims seriously and aim to assess them promptly and work with you to reach an outcome as quickly as possible.
This warranty outlines what is covered, how claims are assessed, and the intended use conditions required for coverage.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Subject to any applicable consumer law rights, any disputes arising under or in connection with this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition implied or imposed by any applicable consumer law which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes the Australian Consumer Law and, where applicable, consumer protection laws in the customer’s jurisdiction.
For customers in the United States: Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. In such states, the limitations set out in this warranty apply only to the extent permitted by the laws of that state.
Consumer Guarantees (Australia)
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Warranty Coverage
Roost Bike warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use for the periods outlined below:
Titanium Frames
- Lifetime warranty for the original owner
Titanium Components (Stems and Handlebars)
- 12-month warranty for the original owner
Aluminium Products
- 12-month warranty
Carbon Products
- 12-month warranty for the original owner
Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser unless otherwise required under applicable law.
Intended Use
Roost Bike frames and components are designed for cross-country and trail riding conditions (EFBE Category 3), including:
- Technical trails and rough terrain
- General mountain biking conditions
- Jumps and drops up to approximately 60 cm
Use outside of these conditions is considered outside intended use.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Downhill or bike park riding
- Freeride or extreme riding conditions
- Large drops or jumps exceeding 60 cm
What is Covered
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials
- Manufacturing defects in workmanship
Where a valid claim is confirmed, Roost Bike will, at its discretion:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product
- Or provide an appropriate remedy
What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from crashes, impacts, or accidents
- Damage caused by use outside the intended use riding conditions
- Damage resulting from excessive loads or forces beyond intended use
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper installation or assembly
- Improper maintenance
- Modifications or alterations to the product
- Use of incompatible components
Damage resulting from external forces such as impact, overload, or crash conditions is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Assessment of Claims
All warranty claims require inspection of the product.
The customer must notify Roost Bike within 30 days of discovering any issue. The customer must cease using the product immediately upon discovering any defect, damage, or anomaly that may affect the safety or structural integrity of the product. Continued use after discovery of any issue may void the warranty claim.
Assessment is based on the physical condition of the product and may include evaluation of:
- deformation
- impact damage
- wear patterns
- fracture characteristics
This allows us to determine whether a failure is due to a manufacturing defect or external factors such as load or impact.
The condition of the product at the time of inspection may affect the outcome of the assessment.
Crash Replacement Program
If a product is damaged in a non-warranty situation (e.g. crash or impact), Roost may offer a replacement under our crash replacement program.
Under this program:
- Replacement products may be offered at a reduced cost
- Availability is determined at Roost’s discretion
- Proof of purchase is required
All shipping, taxes, and associated costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Roost may require return or destruction of the original product.
Installation & Use
We recommend that all components are installed by a qualified bicycle mechanic in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Using the product outside of its intended use conditions may affect performance and durability, and is not covered under warranty and may void any claim against Roost Bike to the extent permitted by law.
Warranty Limitations
To the extent permitted by law:
- Roost Bike is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses
- Warranty coverage is limited to the remedies outlined above
Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits rights under applicable consumer law.
Severability
If any provision of this warranty is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed from this warranty and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To initiate a claim, please contact:

Include:
- Your name and contact details
- Proof of purchase
- Date of purchase
- Product details (including serial number where applicable)
- Photos clearly showing the issue
Further information may be requested to assess the claim.
Additional Notes
- Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser
- This warranty is not transferable except where required by law
- Roost Bike reserves the right to update this warranty as products evolve
Warranty Registration

Lifetime frame warranty registration form is to be completed within 21 days of receiving your frame.
Your warranty documents will be emailed to you once summitted.
